Meet Abby – *Adopted*
Abby is a charming, affectionate 5-year-old (estimated age) that is looking for a new home. She came to rescue from a Northern California animal shelter after being purchased on Craig’s list and then subsequently surrendered to the shelter. She is on the smaller side at 40 lbs. She is spayed and current on all vaccines. She could be placed with older children (over age 12)
She lived with a male pug in her temporary foster home. We have no history on her tolerance of cats. She appears to be house-trained, knows how to use a dog door, loves to curl up on her favorite blanket and rarely barks unless her foster mom is late getting her dinner ready. Her tail wiggles with any attention. She is not an early riser and her foster mom usually has to wake her up in the a.m.!!
She has been diagnosed with dry eye and will require prescription eye drops ongoing. These are essential to maintaining her vision. She has minimal arthritis in one front shoulder so second-floor living is not recommended.
