Meet Beach Boy – *Adopted*
Location: SF Peninsula, CA
Reason given up for adoption: Stray, found running on the Beach
Temperament: Energetic, playful adolescent Bulldog. Loves people, is somewhat reactive with other dogs on leash walks but is improving.
Health Condition: Excellent
Placement Limitations: NorCal only, needs fenced yard, no other dogs or cats, no kids under 10 due to his energy level. New owner must be dog experienced and willing to help this young diamond in the ruff learn to control his exuberance and zest for life.
Special Needs: Yes
His current foster mom and dad have made wonderful progress in just 10 days with his potty training, leash walking and basic training. They describe him as a wonderful dog who is loving with all people but has too much energy for young kids. He will need an owner who understands strong adolescent dogs and their need for basic training and who is willing and able to commit to this process. He has had surgery to correct his elongated soft palate and entropion in one eye. His sutures will be removed in just a few days.
He is neutered and current on all vaccines.
UPDATE: His new name is Auggie.
