Comments:
Chance received his name when our volunteer saw him at a south bay animal shelter and, despite his terrible condition, decided we should give him a ‘chance’ rather than letting him keep his date to be euthanized.

It became apparent soon that Chance felt he had more life to live. He quickly recovered from kennel cough and started to gain weight. With care, good food and medication, his ear infections, skin problems, and diminished vision began to improve. He has gained almost 15 lbs and will now need to start watching his waistline. He has made progress with his potty training but will need to continue training in this area.

He will require twice daily drops for dry eye. He will also benefit from glucosamine supplements and NSAIDs for his arthritis.
