Dougie came into rescue with some serious medical issues. He required knee surgery due to a loose patella and a torn cruciate and a tail amputation due to a chronically infected tight tail. He spent the first two years of his life in some significant discomfort. After 6 months in rescue recovering from his medical issues he is ready to look for a home.
He will do best in a calm, quiet home with a regular routine that he can count on. He loves his bed, is a quiet boy, and does not require much exercise. He needs someone who will give him one on one attention which has been lacking in his life thus far.
His favorite person is his foster dad, who he thinks makes the sun come up every day.
