Meet Foxy – *Adopted*
Location: SF Peninsula, CA
Reason given up for adoption: Family no longer wanted her.
Temperament: Very shy, will need patient quiet home that is willing to give her lots of attention. She is initially a bit aloof and seems to have some trust issues, but quickly overcomes her concerns and enjoys being petted and cuddled.
Health Condition: Good
Placement Limitations: Northern California only, no children under 12, no cats, could consider placement with a gentle neutered male. Will need a quiet, patient household willing to give her the attention she has missed in her previous home.
Special Needs: Yes
Foxy appeared terrified when she first came into rescue. It is doubtful she got much socialization outside her previous home during her early life. Within a few minutes of patient approach she quickly warmed up to her foster mom and has now decided she is the best thing ever. Her ability to quickly overcome her fears and trust speaks well for her ability to adjust to new situations. She has been a fast learner. She now knows how to use a dog door, is house trained and is a quiet girl. She is definitely a homebody, so, if you want someone to watch t.v. with or sit by your chair, please give Foxy some consideration.
