Rita Rose

Rita Rose

Meet Rita Rose!

Name: Rita Rose
Age: approx 6

Rita Rose was found by a South Bay animal control officer sitting in the middle of the road. Her eyes and ears were infected, she had significant patches of hair loss due to secondary skin infections and she was thought to have beginning pyometra.

After her transfer to NorCal Bulldog Rescue, she has been spayed, her infections treated and now she is ready to move on to a new home.

Since she came in with no history, no kids under 8, could possibly be placed with a sedate neutered male Bulldog but no other dogs please. She has had multiple litters, is very affectionate, is a slow moving girl who is in no hurry to get anywhere. Unknown tolerance for cats. If you are looking for an active dog to take for walks, better consider a stroller for this girl. She loves her meals, comfy bed, and wagging her tail when she gets any human attention. If you are looking for someone to watch t.v.with you, thinks a walk to the mailbox and back is enough exercise, will sit next to your chair and remind you when dinner time is, she might be your girl. She will require ongoing daily eye lubrication.

No stairs please, with her little short legs she can manage a few steps, but going up and down full flights of stairs isn’t in her future!

She is currently being fostered on the SF Peninsula.
