Birdie is a Loving English Bulldog Available for Adoption in Northern California
Birdie is a cuddly brindle and white sweetheart looking for a calm and loving home for her golden years. This 55-pound, 8-year-old lap dog would love nothing more than to snuggle up with you on the couch.
Birdie is crate-trained, house-trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all her shots, and she has had soft palate surgery. She only takes a daily pill to manage skin allergies common to the breed.
She has no resource-guarding tendencies or fear of humans – she’ll walk right up to passersby to ask for pets. She doesn’t get along well with other dogs, though, and should be the only pet in the household. She also does not do well with babies, and after many months of her struggling with severe anxiety and reactive behavior around the new baby in her household, it has become clear that her best home is no longer with her current family. She's never had an issue with older children, however. Birdie's going to make her next family very happy – she’s a dog who will literally hug you back.
