Malibu is an 8-year-old sweetheart who is suddenly facing an uncertain future. Her mom is moving very soon and heartbreakingly, cannot take her along. She is doing everything she can to ensure Malibu doesn’t end up in a shelter — and that’s where you come in.

At 40 pounds, Malibu is a healthy, happy girl who has always been well cared for. She is both crate-trained and house-trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. She absolutely adores people and kids, and one of her favorite pastimes is curling up on the couch to watch TV with her mom. While she occasionally has adorable bursts of energy, she’s mostly content being your loyal couch companion and reigning queen of her castle.

Malibu is already microchipped and will have her vaccines updated at her upcoming vet appointment this week. She’s ready for her next chapter — she just needs the right person to say yes.

Because Malibu prefers to be the center of attention, she is looking for a home without other dogs or cats. She wants to be your one and only — and she promises to fill that role beautifully.

Malibu is currently living in the Tri-Cities area of the East Bay and is hoping her forever family finds her very soon.
