Meet Carti 💛
Carti is a 10-month-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. She came into rescue after her senior owner entered a nursing home, and despite the major changes early in her life, Carti has proven to be incredibly adaptable, confident, and full of joy.
This playful girl approaches everything with enthusiasm and can turn just about anything into a game. While she loves her toys, nothing compares to a good wrestling match—especially with her older canine foster buddy (who she usually manages to outlast!). For a Bulldog, Carti has impressive stamina and would thrive with a playful dog companion who can keep up with her energy.
Carti enjoys structure and does best with a routine—she’ll happily remind you if breakfast is running late! She’s already got some great basics down: she’s crate trained, sleeps through the night, and knows how to use a dog door. She’s also recently been spayed and has started her vaccinations, with no current medical concerns and a healthy, shiny coat.
Carti would do best in a home that embraces the fun (and chaos!) of a young, energetic pup and is committed to continuing her training. A yard is a must for this active girl. She may do well with older, dog-savvy children who can confidently handle her playful nature. Cats, however, are probably not her thing.
At around 40 lbs, Carti would be best matched with a dog sibling of similar or larger size.
