Meet Cece

Cece is an approximately 9-year-old spayed female Bulldog. Age is not certain, as she was taken in as a starving adult. The new owner was able to easily nurse Cece back to health, and she did well for years. Mid 2025, she was diagnosed with an infected uterus, and the owner received assistance to pay for the surgery. Cece did well for a few months but then developed eye issues (ulcer secondary to dry eye). Given her historic allergies and need for chronic eye meds, she needed to rehome Cece. Cece used to live with a Cane Corso pup and did pretty well with him. In the foster new household, there are just too many dogs, and she has started to show aggression sometimes over resources (mainly attention from people).

Cece is truly a couch potato and loves her bed and belly rubs. She would likely thrive in a household with no cats (she has snapped at cats, but she’s slow, they are fine) and few or no dogs. In foster care, she has had her eye disease controlled with medication, a mass cell tumor removed, started on arthritis medication, and is working out what is best for her allergies. She is sweet and needs more one-on-one time than her foster family can offer.

She is current with her vaccines.
Please have an adoption application on file before inquiring about Cece.
