Meet Chef
Chef is a wonderful 76-pound English Bulldog who is looking for a new home where he can continue to be the happy, active boy he is.
He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, has no breathing issues, and has no known health problems. Even better, Chef is unusually active for an English Bulldog his age. He loves to play and is definitely not a couch-potato Bulldog! If you’re looking for a Bulldog who enjoys getting up, playing, and interacting with his people, Chef may be your guy.
Chef is well trained, house trained, non-destructive, affectionate, and an all-around great dog. He especially loves his tug-of-war time and would thrive with someone who has the time and desire to keep him active and engaged.
Chef's Ideal Home
There are a few important things to know about Chef when considering his new home:
- Small dogs: Chef does very well with small dogs.
- Larger dogs: He can be selective with larger dogs and does not do well with German Shepherds or Huskies.
- Children: An adult-only home is preferred. Chef has grown up alongside his owner's three-year-old son and has been wonderful with him, so this recommendation is not the result of an incident involving his child. However, Chef has knocked over a few unfamiliar children who got too close to him in the past. At 76 pounds, that could certainly result in an injury. He also does not enjoy being around loud, high-energy children. Teenagers are fine.
- Activity level: Chef needs a home where someone has the time and desire to play with him and keep him active. His favorite activity is, without a doubt, tug-of-war!
Chef is a loving, well-behaved Bulldog with plenty of personality. He simply needs the right home—one that understands his preferences, respects his boundaries, and will give him the activity and attention he enjoys.
