Meet the Voluptuous Ms. Dixie — Queen of Snuggles and Second Chances
Ms. Dixie is a gorgeous 5‑year‑old dark brindle and white sweetheart who came into rescue from a local shelter, and she has been winning hearts ever since. When she arrived, she was dealing with a badly infected tail pocket, but this resilient girl never let it dim her spirit. She has since had her tail amputated, been spayed, and undergone soft palate surgery — and she has made a full, happy recovery.
She also came in a bit on the fluffy side at 75 lbs, but with love, care, and determination, she’s now a healthier 67 lbs. We couldn’t be prouder of her progress.

Ideal Home
Dixie would do best in a home without stairs or with only a few, just to keep her comfortable. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be near her humans, soaking up attention and giving it right back.

She is fully vetted — up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, and ready for her forever home.
