Meet Humphrey
My foster mom says I look like an ad for Red Dog Beer!! I am approx 2 years of age.
I was found as a stray in Monterey County and the shelter in that area took me in, did all my vaccines, did a behavior assessment, microchipped me, neutered me, and fixed my cherry eye. They were going to find me a new home, but my cherry eye popped back out and they did not have the resources to fix it again so I went to NorCal Bulldog Rescue and they fixed it.
My foster mom says I am very athletic, very sweet (I give kisses), and that I want more than anything to have a human to spend time with. I like to hang out with some of the other rescues but if I have a choice I am looking through the patio door to see what my mom is doing. I like my naps but I also like to run around and explore new things. So if you are looking for a young buddy to take on walks and teach how to play with toys I may be your boy. Oh, and I know how to use a dog door and have had no accidents in my kennel.
Requirements for adoption:
- Yard required, no children under 10 years, no cats, will need an adopter who has significant spare time to train me and help me settle into a new environment.
- Previous Bulldog experience is always a plus.
- My foster mom says I am very smart and learn quickly what is expected of me. I am very food-motivated so that helps me learn quickly!!
