Peaches is a 4-year-old Bulldog with a heart as sweet as her name! After surviving a difficult past, this resilient girl is now ready to begin her brand-new life surrounded by love and comfort.
Peaches came into rescue through Animal Control as part of a cruelty case. She had been living outdoors and battling a severe tail pocket infection that could have cost her life. Thankfully, with dedicated veterinary care and lots of TLC, Peaches has made an incredible recovery! She’s had several surgeries — including a tail amputation, soft palate surgery, and cherry eye removal — all done carefully in stages to let her body heal. She’s now spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
Peaches is a happy, affectionate, and cuddly girl who loves being around people. She walks nicely on leash, appears to be house trained, and will happily curl up beside you for snuggles.
Peaches would do best as the only pet in her home — she prefers to have her people all to herself and doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs. There’s no cat history, but with humans, she’s pure love and joy!
