Meet Sherman (Deaf) DOB: 10/2024
Sherman will be 2 years old in October. He is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccinations, and is deaf. He is a very special boy with a lot of personality
He is spending far too much time alone and, in his crate, while owners are at work. They love him very much, but they have come to realize that their lifestyle just isn’t giving Sherman the time, attention, and interaction that he needs and deserves. He does have a vibrating collar that does help with getting his attention when off lead. He does very well with the collar and responds to it.
Our biggest concern is finding him a loving, permanent family who will understand him, have the time for him, and make him a real part of their family. Someone with Bulldog experience, and ideally experience with deaf dogs, would be wonderful.
Sherman is still so young, and we really believe that with the right person or family who has the time to work with him and give him plenty of love and attention, he can have a wonderful life. He does get along with Bigger Dogs but can be overwhelming to little dogs. He does cue off the bigger dogs better than the smaller dogs. He is Great with kids! NOT CAT TESTED! - NO SMALL DOGS! He is potty-trained and is comfortable with his crate.
