Meet Wally, Again! – Adopted

Welcome Wally back to our rescue family! Bulldog friends, I’m back and I never saw that coming!

I was adopted several years ago by my Dad. It was just the two of us for a while. Then he got married and started a family. I wasn’t a big fan of the new addition to the family and started spending more time in the garage. My physical needs weren’t being taken care of. I gained 20 pounds since being adopted, my ears were badly infected and I had not been receiving my dry eye medication. My eyesight isn’t what it was. The nice people in rescue have been working very hard to get me back into shape. I have been on something called ‘Weight Watchers’ & I have already lost some weight! My ears are doing better and they are diligently working on my eyes. (He does need prescription dry eye medication twice daily for the rest of his life.)

I can be a grumbly, grumpy boy at times. I don’t like to have my ears treated by the vet or my nails trimmed. I can also be cranky around my food at times. Since coming back into rescue I have been fine around my food, but my former adoptive owner reported that I was grumpy around my food.

I am sure I never did anything wrong. I was the best family member I could be. I am 100% house-trained! No accidents for me. I love a good long nap and spend most of my day lounging and sleeping. When I am not sleeping, I am wagging my tail, waiting for my next meal. I still don’t like other dogs, so I’m great in a home without them!

I am now 7 years old and that is a great age. I am going to start looking through the approved applications for a family who will love me forever. All I need is another family who will love me forever, and this time forever will mean forever.

Wally will need a Bulldog-experienced home. A quiet home with no stairs.
